The World Bank Legal Vice Presidency (LEG) is co-sponsoring a book launch taking place next Thursday, May 5, in the InfoShop auditorium (J 1-050). Susan Rose-Ackerman of Yale University, one of the foremost experts on the economic and jurisprudential aspects of corruption, along with her co-author Bonnie Palifka of ITESM at Monterrey, Mexico, will be presenting the second edition of Corruption and Government.

In parallel, organized criminal activity has had an influence on economic and political systems, often with a negative impact on global markets and economies.
