The Law Societies’ Compact & Forum for SDG 16 which is a new initiative that seeks to promote and strengthen the rule of law around the globe.
The initiative has been developed by the Legal Vice-Presidency of the World Bank Group in collaboration with The Law Society of England & Wales, and with additional input from the French National Bar Council and the Paris Bar.
The Compact & Forum will amplify the voices of lawyers everywhere by connecting law societies across the globe. It will be a community that encourages every lawyer to help strengthen the rule of law and access to justice as a force for good. Membership of this forum will be open to law societies across the world.
