Biographies
Isabella Micali Drossos Isabella Micali Drossos is a French and Brazilian lawyer. She joined the Bank in 1999 and has worked since then as an operational lawyer in Africa, Latin America and the Pacific Region. She has a passion for issues related to gender-based violence (in particular Female Genital Mutilation and Domestic Violence) and collective happiness and well-being in development. She holds degrees in law and in economics from the University of Paris, an LLM from the London School of Economics and a PhD in international public law from the University Pantheon-Sorbonne. |

Nankali Maksud Nankali Maksud is the Senior Advisor, Child Protection at UNICEF Headquarters. Nankali has also worked in Mozambique, Zimbabwe and Somalia focusing on the realization of the rights of vulnerable children. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Law and a Masters in International Law. Nankali is a fellow of the fourth class of the Africa Leadership Initiative in East Africa and a member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network. She is part of the UNFPA-UNICEF Joint Programme to Accelerate the Elimination of FGM, the largest initiative dedicated to the eradication of the crime by 2030. |
