Duygu has been working at the World Bank, Environment & International Law Practice Group since November 2018. She provides legal and policy advice on environmental, social, and international law issues pertaining to World Bank projects and legal support to the World Bank’s climate change agenda. She also serves as a member of the International Law and Sea Level Rise Committee of the International Law Association, where she contributes to the Committee’s mandate on international law issues prompted by the mid- and longer-term impacts of sea level rise. Previously, she worked with Advocates Abroad, the American Bar Association Rule of Law Initiative, the UN High Commissioner for Refugees, and the Office of the Commissioner for Human Rights at the Council of Europe.
