About Law, Justice and Development Week
The Law, Justice and Development Week (LJD Week) is an annual global event bringing together development professionals, legal and judicial experts, public and private sector actors, and civil society engaged in using law and legal tools to address some of the most pressing development challenges. Every year, LJD Week focuses on a unique overarching theme and welcomes thousands of attendees and speakers at the World Bank Group headquarters in Washington D.C.
Virtual Law, Justice and Development Week 2020
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the World Bank Legal Vice Presidency will be holding a virtual Law, Justice and Development 2020 on November 16-19 around the theme of Legal Responses to the COVID-19 Pandemic.
Join our guest speakers and experts in a four-day program of events which recognizes the important work law, legal, and development professionals are conducting in the context of global development priorities.
The role of law in global development solutions continues to be critical to our mission of ending extreme poverty.
We look forward to virtually welcoming you to our events!
